In winter, free ski buses take you directly from the hotel to the Rosenambahn or Wiesenalmbahn valley station in the Zillertal Arena ski area in just 2 minutes. Back at the hotel, your ski equipment can be stored in the comfortable ski depot with its own lockable locker per room including boot dryer.

In summer, the perfect starting point for countless biking and hiking trails. Take the summer mountain lifts cable car to the Rosenalm in just a few minutes. Your bike is also in good hands with us and can be stored in our bike garage.

The Zillertal Arena, the largest ski area in the valley, a 4-mountain ski area with the villages of Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Königsleiten, Wald and Krimml/Hochkrimml stretches from Tyrol to Salzburg. With over 150 kilometers of pistes and numerous huts, it offers plenty of variety for beginners and pros alike.

1,930 vertical meters in one go! Austria's longest valley run, from the Übergangsjoch at 2,500 meters to Zell am Ziller at 570 meters, 10 kilometers of fun on the slopes with a gradient of up to 50 percent.

Over 400 kilometers of hiking trails lead you to impressive viewpoints from which you can enjoy a spectacular panorama of the surrounding mountains. Along the way, you may come across a few cows and hear the soothing babble of a mountain stream.
